“spice”
SIKI is a Swahili word meaning “spice.” Just as spice brings flavour and life, we exist to bring hope, colour and support to young people’s mental wellbeing.
Founded on 19th July 2019, SIKI began as a safe space for young people in different campuses to have open and honest conversations around mental health.
Over the years, SIKI transitioned into a Community-Based Organization (CBO) focused on making mental health support more accessible and affordable for young people.
We create spaces where young people can learn, connect and put their mental wellbeing first, without judgement and without cost standing in the way.
