What We Do
At SIKI Youth Association, we are dedicated to empowering youth, promoting mental health, and fostering positive change in our society.
Empowering Youth and Creating Positive Change through Various Initiatives The services we offer at SIKI Youth Association are designed to empower Kenyan youth and drive positive change in our society. Through our dedicated team and collaborative efforts, we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people. Here's an overview of the key initiatives we focus on:
Mental Health Advocacy
We actively advocate for mental health awareness among the youth. Through campaigns, workshops, and educational programs, we strive to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and promote a supportive environment for individuals facing mental health challenges.
Social Issues Awareness
We work towards raising awareness and addressing various social issues that negatively impact our society. This includes advocating for the prevention of gender-based violence, ending rape culture, and promoting awareness about drug and substance abuse.
Mentorship and Skill Development
We provide mentorship programs and skill development opportunities to empower youth and help them build a strong foundation for their future. Through workshops, training sessions, and networking events, we aim to equip young individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in their personal and professional lives.
Support for Teenage Parents
We recognize the unique challenges faced by teenage parents and provide them with support, guidance, and resources to navigate their parenthood journey. Our counseling services, parenting workshops, and access to relevant resources ensure the well-being of both the young parents and their children.
Community Engagement
We actively engage in community service projects and charity events to give back to society. Through volunteering initiatives and collaborative efforts, we contribute to the betterment of our communities and create a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
Free Counseling Services
We offer free counseling services to our members, providing them with a safe and confidential space to express their concerns, seek guidance, and receive professional support. Our certified counselors are dedicated to promoting mental well-being and helping individuals overcome challenges they may face.

mental illness, how to ask for help among others.
Our Projects
5th October 2019
On 5th October 2019, we held our first event, SIKI YOUTH ART FESTIVAL, at Bondeni Social Hall, Nakuru, with Egerton University as the host. The event focused on the theme of Mental Health and Drug Abuse Awareness among Youths. It was a resounding success, with a large turnout of enthusiastic youths who showcased their talents to a crowd of approximately 200 people.
Covid 19 pandemic 2020
During the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, we successfully organized and hosted 15 webinars in collaboration with multiple organizations. These webinars served as crucial platforms for sharing knowledge, raising awareness, and providing support during these challenging times. Through interactive online sessions, we addressed a wide range of topics related to mental health, well-being, personal development, and coping strategies. Our webinars attracted a diverse audience, allowing us to reach and engage with individuals from different backgrounds and communities.
2021
In 2021, we dedicated our efforts to the "Save Her Mind" Initiative, a year-long project aimed at creating mental health awareness specifically for teenage expectant girls and young mothers and fathers. Recognizing the unique challenges and pressures faced by this vulnerable group, we developed comprehensive programs and initiatives to provide them with the necessary support, guidance, and resources for their mental well-being.
2022
In 2022, our focus was on engaging in charity events and creating mental health awareness through various platforms. We had the privilege of visiting Blessed Kids Children's Home in Zimmerman, where we organized two special events with a central theme of self-love and self-development. These events aimed to empower the children with the importance of nurturing a positive mindset, building self-confidence, and embracing personal growth.

It provides a platform for young individuals to showcase their skills, learn from experts, and connect with like-minded peers.
