Aeotec ZWA018 Z-Wave Plus v2 Water Sensor 7 Basic, Gen7

Receive real time alerts when water leaks occur or when water levels change with the Aeotec Z-Wave Water Sensor 7 Basic. This Z-Wave leak sensor sends alerts to a connected security panel, receiver, or hub when it detects water in sensitive areas, preventing water damage or flooding from damaging your property. The leak sensor can also be used to measure water levels within containers such as water tanks, pools, hot tubs, etc. This Z-Wave sensor utilizes Z-Wave 700 software for increased transmission range, battery life, and signal encryption for guaranteed operation. The Water Sensor 7 Basic can detect as little as 0.5mm or 0.02\" of water in a designated area. This level of sensitivity gives you the maximum amount of time to respond to an alert before serious damage occurs. The Water Sensor 7 Basic can be programmed to work with smart water valves or electronic sump pumps to seal off in case of a pipe burst or leak, or coordinate with Z-Wave controllers to shut off electronics to prevent electrical shortages. The Water Sensor 7 Basic can be placed on any flat surface whether on the floor, countertop, or adhered to a wall appliance, or any other vertical surface. The sensor's small size allows you to place it in virtually any hard to reach space where water can accumulate. When placing the Water Sensor 7, consider the direction in which a flood or leak may flow to ensure the water will come in contact with the sensor.
